The GSS DA was given $300,000 in fiscal year funds to more fully grow the Destination Area.  These funds are being used in the following way:

Concept Areas:  

Ecological and Human Health in Rural Communities -$75,000

Integrative Science Solutions for Freshwater Systems - $75,000

Infectious Disease - $60,000

Development funds for New Concepts - $40,000

Integration among GSS Concepts and other DAs and SGAs - $25,000

Funds to conduct a Phase III Request for Concepts - $25,000
