Homeschooling STEM Club

Looking down on two children playing with circuit kits as part of the Fralin Life Scienced Institute's STEM homeschooling club.

In spring 2024, the Fralin Life Sciences Institute created a FLSI Homeschooling STEM Club based on the success of partnering with the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library to deliver hands-on science programming to their homeschooling club. If you are interested in being involved with our Homeschooling STEM Club, please contact Kristy Collins, director of education and outreach for the Fralin Life Sciences Institute.

The club meets one Friday a month at 10 am to explore various life science topics.

We are interested in forming parternships with homeschooling groups and co-ops. If you are interested in scheduling a tour of Steger Hall, participating in a hands on activity on the Virginia Tech Blacksburg campus, or having us come out to your group contact, please contact Kristy Collins.
