The Nikon AXR is a point scanning confocal built around the inverted Ti2E, with additional resolution provided by the NSPARC array detector which improves signal-to-noise. With the largest field of view available on the market and the custom design, the AXR is capable of providing a wide range of imaging.

The Zeiss LSM 880 is a point scanning confocal built around an inverted Zeiss microscope with additiona resolution provided by the Airyscan array detector, improving signal-to-noise. With the versatility of traditional point scanning and additional resolution afforded by Airyscan, the LSM 880 is capable of providing a wide range of imaging.

The Zeiss LLS7 is ideal for gentle and fast volumetric imaging at confocal-like resolution. The LLS7 can address research questions related to fast and long-term dynamics, and those requiring high axial resolution, with potential samples including cells, 3D cell culture, plants, and more.

The Zeiss Axio Observer is a widefield, epifluorescent microscope that is free to use in Fralin Hall and great for checking slides!

Analysis workstations in Fralin and Steger Halls are available to facility users at no cost. The workstations include proprietary Zeiss and Nikon software, as well as Arivis 4D for LLS7 images.
