File Description: A brief comparison of our instruments and their locations.
The Facility offers a free, self-paced online FIJI/ImageJ for Beginners course on Canvas.
In addition to an introduction to FIJI and basic commands, learners will also:
- Make basic measurements
- Use segmentation to make measurements
- Perform background subtraction and other image math
- Visualize 3D images
- Perform basic 3D measurements
Outside of the core modules, specific PlugIn modules also offered include:
- Trainable segmentation and subsequent measurements with Trainable Weka Segmentation and Labkit
- Tracking over time with Trackmate
- An introduction to ImageJ Macro creation for batch processing and analysis
- Colocalization tools (pixel- and object-based) with Coloc2 and JaCoP
