Zeiss LSM 880

Overview

The Zeiss LSM 880 with Airyscan is a laser scanning confocal microscope built around an inverted Zeiss Z1 located in Fralin Hall. This microscope can image live, fixed, and inanimate samples and is equipped with capabilities for live cell imaging, sub-micron resolution imaging with Airyscan/Airyscan FAST scanning, and capturing reflected as well as fluorescent images.
